Háromrétegű, használata gazdaságosabb, mert kevesebb arctisztító szerrel ugyanolyan tisztítást érünk el, mint a vatta változattal, a vízzáró rétegének köszönhetően. Frottír anyaga puha, mégis az elhalt hámsejteket eltávolítja.
Használat után kevés csapvízzel és szappannal, kézzel kimosható, bármilyen smink belőle, de 30-40 °C fokon gépben mosózsákban is mosható, szárítógépben történő szárítása nem ajánlott.
A korongokhoz ajándék tasak jár, amiben lehet tárolni, illetve mosógépben kimosni.
